Obituary of Mary Clementine Savoy
The death of Mary Savoy of Quispamsis, wife of the late Alfred J. Savoie, occurred at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Friday, October 28, 2005. Born in Lameque Island, NB, she was the daughter of the late Richard and Helen Hachey. Mary is survived by three daughters, Lillian Jackson of French Village, Della Stephen (Joseph) and O'Rida Savoie, both of Quispamsis; three sons, Clarance Savoie of Saint John, Fred Savoy (Karen) of Quispamsis and Malcolm Savoy (Bonnie) of Ottawa, ON; one sister, Christine Robichaud of Lameque, NB; one brother, Marcel Hachey of Saint John; forty-one grandchildren, fifty-seven great grandchildren, eight great-great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by one daughter, Viola; two sons, Anthony and Clifford; two brothers; five sisters; five grandchildren and one great granddaughter. Resting at Kennebecasis Select Community Funeral Home, 152 Pettingill Road, Quispamsis, NB (506) 849-2119, with visitation Saturday and Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Vigil prayers will be held on Sunday at 8:00 pm., at the funeral home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, October 31, 2005 from St. Mark's Catholic Church, Pettingill Road, Quispamsis, at 10:00 am. Interment will take place in St. Joseph's Cemetery. For those who wish, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, Animal Rescue League or a charity of the donor's choice.
