Obituary of Ronald Joseph Daigle
Ronald Joseph Daigle passed away peacefully on October 23rd, 2005, at the Saint John Regional Hospital, Palliative Care Unit. During his too brief stay in the world Ron achieved great success in his work and his personal life. He laughed often and loved much. He enjoyed the trust of many friends and gained the respect of all who met him. He left the world better than he found it, whether by acts of kindness, devotion to family, or commitment to work. He never lacked appreciation of all the beauty earth has to offer, nor failed to express it. He always looked for the best in others and gave them the best he had. His life was an inspiration to all and he will be greatly missed. Ron was born on April 27th, 1946, in Saint Charles, NB. He was the son of the late Frederick and Catherine (Comeau) Daigle. Ron is survived by his wife Francine (Bourgeois) Daigle; three daughters, Michelle, Marilee and Catherine; step-daughter, Jocelyn; five sisters, Alvina Richard, Alice Oulette, Doris Poirier, Jeanette Kieft and Yvette Albert; six brothers, Leo, Gerald, Eric, Louis-Emile, Jean-Marc and Maurice; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by a sister, Anita Nesbitt and brother, Arthur. No visitation will be held by request. A celebration of Ron's life will be held on Tuesday, October 25th, 2005, at Rothesay Baptist Church on the Vincent Road, at 1:30 pm. Interment will take place in the Lower Central Norton Baptist Cemetery, at a later time. Arrangements are entrusted to Kennebecasis Select Community Funeral Home, 152 Pettingill Road, Quispamsis, (506) 849-2119. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
