Obituary of Mary Margaret McKim
The death of Margie McKim of Rothesay, NB, wife of Warren McKim, occurred on Thursday, July 21st, 2005 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Saint John, NB, she was the daughter of the late James and Helen (Doucette) McIntyre. Margie enjoyed being with her friends for a game of bingo or bowling, was a devoted Mother and Grandmother, was a Eucharistic Minister at St. Mark's and will be sadly missed by all, especially her “little” friend Jade who never left her side. Margie is survived by three daughters, Kathleen McKim-Dawes (Steve), Nancy Dobbelsteyn (Eric), both of Rothesay and Mary Murray (Doug) of Fort McMurray, AB; two sons, Michael (Joanie) of Lower Sackville, NS and John (Rebecka) of Lawrencetown, NS; one sister, Rose McCarthy of Saint John, NB; one brother, Patrick McIntyre (Gerry) of Montreal, PQ; twelve grandchildren, John and Shane MacDonald, Michael and Brent Dawes, Susan and Chris Dobbelsteyn, Stephen, Shawn, Stanford and Warren McKim, Shauna and Chyanne Murray; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by three sisters, Mary, Theresa and Rita; two brothers, Paul and John; and an infant grandson Jake. At the request of the family there will be no visitation. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, July 23rd, 2005 from St. Mark's Church, Quispamsis at 10:00 am. Interment will take place in Greenwood Cemetery. Arrangements are entrusted to Kennebecasis Select Community Funeral Home, 152 Pettingill Road, Quispamsis, NB (506) 849-2119. Remembrances may be made to any charity of the donor's choice.
