Obituary of John Joseph Bouzan
The death of John Joseph Bouzan, husband of Ellen (Morrissey) Bouzan, occurred on February 25, 2005 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born at St. John's, NF, he was the son of Ellen (Crotty) Bouzan and the late Alphonsus Bouzan. He was a pharmacist with Meditrust Pharmacy and was a member of St. Mark's Roman Catholic Church, Quispamsis. He was an avid photographer but above all he was a devoted family man. Besides his wife and mother he is survived by his daughters Karen Bouzan and her fiancée Tam Cheah of Markham, ON, Monica and her husband Sheldon Cameron of Quispamsis, his brother Richard Bouzan and his wife Frances Cleary and his special niece Nicole Bouzan of St. John's, NF, his sisters Marguerite and her husband Edmund Power of Calgary, Catherine and her husband James Bragg of Mount Pearl, NF, his uncles Vincent Bouzan and his wife Theresa of St. Catherine's, ON, Bernard Crotty and his wife Mary of Bramalea, ON, his aunts Kathleen Carroll of St. Patrick's, NF, Alice Quinn of St. John's, NF, and several nieces, nephews and extended family. Resting at Kennebecasis Select Community Funeral Home, 152 Pettingill Road (849-2119), with visiting on Saturday and Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. St. Mark's bereavement ministry will hold their prayer service Sunday at 8:00 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, February 28, 2005, at 10:00 AM, from St. Mark's Roman Catholic Church, followed by cremation. Remembrances made to the Canadian Diabetes Association or the New Brunswick Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
