Aunt Ellen was such a special woman that I could never begin to capture her uniqueness in only a few words. I admired her boundless energy, positivity and love; love that she extended to all; Her devotion to God and his work here on earth. And her sense of humour, it makes me smile just thinking of all the laughter we shared.
Like her brother Allan and sister Marjorie she was filled with a determination and drive that was hard to match.
I will miss her terribly.
My condolences to my dear Uncle Jack, cousins Sarah and Rachel and their families.
With love and Tenderness
Eunice and Family

My heart is so sad knowing how greatly you all must be grieving at this time. Your Mom was such a sweet, wonderful friend who seemed like a sister. I felt such a part of your family. I always loved spending the many evenings, Saturdays and Sunday afternoons at your home while you were all living on the Peninsula. She was also the one who saw the Ad and went with me to inquire about and purchase my house. She will be greatly missed by so many who knew and loved her. I will always cherish the memories of fun times together. May you be comforted knowing her love and faith were in Christ and she is now basking in His presence. I am praying for you all continually at this time. Hugs and love! Heather

I have known Ellen for over 50 years; she was always a good friend and a lot of fun, with a great sense of humour. In later years we played several scrabble games on line which she often won. Ellen was a lovely person and a loving wife to Jack , and great mother to her 2 daughters . We kind of lost touch in later years so I haven't met her grandkids yet; but I send my condolences to them, to Jack, her daughters and all their families

Dear Jack, Sarah, Rachel, and your families,
I am so sorry and deeply saddened at the death of my dear friend Ellen! She seemed like a second sister to me, and I always enjoyed our visits together. Vera and I considered her one of our best friends, and we are both so saddened by her passing, while at the same time we rejoice that she is in the presence of the Lord whom she loved so dearly. I will always be thankful that I got to visit with Ellen when I was home this past September.
God bless and comfort all of you at this time.

She was a sweet woman and always had a smile on her face no matter what she was facing even with her own health over the years.
We attended Rothesay Baptist Church for many years and she was always there to welcome us and made everyone feel at home.
