Obituary of E. Ann Secord

Surrounded by her family, the death of Ann (Belliveau) Secord, of Quispamsis, wife of Joseph Secord, occurred on Sunday, July 26, 2015 at the Moncton Hospital. Born on November 9, 1948, at Bridgewater, NS, she was a daughter of the late Leon and Lorette Belliveau. Ann is survived by her husband Joseph R. Secord of Quispamsis, her sisters; Claire (Boyd) Clory and Lynn (Pete) Richard, both of Riverview, NB, as well as many nieces and nephews. Ann was proud to be a graduate as a Registered Nurse from the St. Joseph School of Nursing. Ann retired after a 40 year career as the Provincial Organ Transplant Coordinator and Inspector of Anatomy. In her retirement, Ann was active in the community as Representative of the town of Quispamsis on the Imperial Theater Board and past President of the St. Joseph's Hospital Ladies Auxiliary. A special thanks to Dr. Paul Renfrew and the staff of ICU of Moncton General Hospital. Resting at Kennebecasis Community Funeral Home, 152 Pettingill Road, Quispamsis, NB (506-849-2119), with visiting on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Mark's Catholic Church, Quispamsis on Friday, July 31, 2015 at 10:00 AM. Interment to take place at a later date. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the St. Joseph's Hospital Foundation or to a charity of the donor's choice.
