Obituary of Marie Elizabeth Austin
FSurrounded by her family, the passing of Marie Elizabeth Austin, wife of the late Lorne Austin, occurred on December 21, 2017 at Bobby's Hospice.
Born in Damascus, NB on May 7, 1927, she was a daughter of the late Arthur and Annie (Bull) Fudge. Marie was employed with Metropolitan Store in Saint John until her retirement in 1987.
Survived by her children; Anna Fudge (Freeman) of Quispamsis, Murray Austin (Shirley) of Quispamsis, Lorna Arbeau (Reg) of Salisbury, and Robert Austin (Tammy) of Barnesville, nine grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren, daughter in law Judy Austin, as well as several nieces and nephews.
Besides her husband and parents, Marie was predeceased by her brother Arthur Fudge and sister Florence Fudge.
Resting at Kennebecasis Community Funeral Home, 152 Pettingill Road, Quispamsis (849-2119) with visiting on Saturday, December 23 from 10 to 1 PM, followed by the Funeral Service at 1PM. Interment to take place at Ocean View Memorial Gardens. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to Bobby's Hospice. Online condolences may be made at www.kennebecasisfh.com
