It was very sad tho hear of Bobs passing. I have many great memories of him in our early lives in the navy. Including the time the ship Assiniboine was on the slips in Shelburne, NS. I was there when he met Bernice. In his best impression of a gentleman he introduced himself to her. If memory serves it went something like " Hi I'm Bob. How do you like me so far"? We then enjoyed the best feast of lobster, corn on the cob and clams" the like of which I've never experienced since. My sincere condolences to Bernice and family. We will all carry him in our memories.
