Margo Millikin posted a condolence
Dear Joan, Marlaine and extended Family Joan you may not remember me but I am a friend of Louise's and met both you and Mel at Marlaine and Geoff's "Rehearsal Party" in Barrie what seems like many years ago now. I remember you both as delightful, friendly people and while you were "helping" Marlaine get things on the Table, so to speak, Mel came over to a friend and I with a delightful smile, kind and sweet. On learning one of us was an "East Coaster", well the conversation flowed. I've always remembered this and though not seeing Mel since Geoff and Marlaines Wedding, was aware Mel had suffered Health issues. I am so sorry life has been unkind for both of you in that regard and my sincere sympathies and condolences go out to you all. Life throws curves but Mel would expect no less that in time you are able to move on and have happy memories of your time together as a loving Family. Thinking of you all with Sincere Sympathy. Margo Millikin
