Obituary of Brundage Fillmore
Fillmore, Brundage – It is with heart felt sorrow, the family of Brundage “Brun” Fillmore, announce his passing on Monday, May 12, 2025, just five days after the passing of his beloved wife of 64 years, Phyllis Fillmore.
Born October 2, 1936 in Saint John, NB, Dad had a great life. He started his career working for General Electric and in 1962 he started his dream job working for Air Canada. Brun began as a ramp agent and worked his way up to Manager and then Cargo Manager for Southern Ontario. In London, Ontario, Brun helped start the Cargo Division and had the opportunity to meet many people from across many countries. After 30+ years, Dad retired and became self employed and worked with his wife, Phyllis. Upon retirement dad and mom continued travelling.
Dad was my hero. He loved life, his family and God. He had a giving heart and was always there to listen or give a hug. He loved his wife, Phyllis, more than life itself and was there till Mom’s passing on May 7th, 2025.
One of dad’s favourite songs was Amazing Grace and the power of its words.
Brun is survived by his loving daughter, Shelley Fillmore and his son-in-law, Joe Foss, his granddaughter Daffeney (Ray) Voltaire
Brun is predeceased by his parents, Brundage Claude and Irene (Oran) Fillmore, his devoted wife, Phyllis Fillmore, his siblings, Doug (Kay), Roy (May), George (Georgie), Ralph (Iris), Diane (Jim), his nephews, Brian, Keith, and Craig, his niece, Debbie and his dogs, Trixie, Sabu and Kelly.
