Obituary of Frederick John Kallar

It is with great sadness the family of Frederick “Fred” John Kallar,  announces his unexpected passing at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Friday, April 18, 2025,  surrounded by his loving family.

Fred spent most of his working life in construction, owning Kallar Trucking Ltd. He also was owner/operator at D’anjou, Sunbury and RST. Fred loved to go fishing and loved working in his vegetable garden.

Fred is survived by his loving wife, Judy Kallar, his son Todd (Jamie) Kallar and granddaughter Kassidy Kallar, his brother Lee (Diane) Kallar, his sisters; Sandra Wallace, Janet Kilpatrick, Joanne (Everett) Frazee, his sister-in-law, Cindy Kallar, as well as many nieces and nephews.

Fred was predeceased by his parents, Lee and Joyce Kallar, and his brother, Robert “Bob” Kallar.

Arrangements are under the care of Kennebecasis Community Funeral Home, 152 Pettingill Road, Quispamsis (506-849-2119). A Graveside service will take place at Ocean View Memorial Gardens, 715 Latimore Lake Road, Saint John, on Wednesday, April 30^th at 12:00 PM. For those who wish, donations in memory of Fred can be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
