Obituary of David Francis Curwin
It is with heavy hearts the family of David Francis Curwin, of Quispamsis, NB, husband of Valerie Curwin, announce his passing on Saturday, January 28, 2017 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Saint John, NB on March 24, 1951, he was the son of the late Donald and Joy (Thibodeau) Curwin.
In his early years David worked at the Port of Saint John with his family before starting his career at Irving Paper as a TMP Operator for 35 years until his retirement in 2006.
Survived by his wife Valerie, daughters; Angela, Tara (Philip), grandson: Nicholas; siblings: Carol (Frank), Diane (David) , Kathy (Rheal), Paul (Sharon), Chris (Roseanne), Danny, Michelle (Danny) along with aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Besides his parents, David was predeceased by his sister-in-law Kathy and his lifelong friends Paul Foley and Dougie Taylor
Resting at Kennebecasis Community Funeral Home, 152 Pettingill Road, Quispamsis, NB (849-2119), with visitation on Wednesday, February 1 and Thursday, February 2, 2017 from 2- 4 and 6 - 8 PM . A Memorial Service will be held at Kennebecasis Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, February 3, 2017 at 11 AM. Remembrances may be made to the Canadian Hemophilia Society of NB.
