Pam and Bobbie I was sad to hear of your dad's passing. So many memories of growing up living in Lakewood Heights come to mind. I remember going to Salmon River to your camp and your dad was always fun to talk to. My prayers are with you at this difficult time, love Barb

My wife Namcy and myself live on McCarron Drive in Quispamsis. We walk daily. As we are just up the hill from Ritchie Lake we like to make the walk along Cedar Grove from the bottom of our hill over to the park area at the end of the lake, which is very close to Pettingill Road. On many occasions we met Bob and Pam taking a walk. Bob of course was in his wheelchair but was very clear eyed and sometimes said a word or two. Everyone that walked along Cedar Grove regularly knew Bob and Pam and often as we approached them they would be talking to someone passing by and spending a couple minutes with the two of them. Sometimes there would be an entourage walking and talking with them. There is a house close to the corner of Ruth Ave and Cedar Grove where two very friendly cats would routinely come out to see Bob and Pam and would be rewarded with a treat. There were also many afternoons where we would have missed seeing Bob and Pam but as we walked on the path that skirted tha lake we would often look up at their house and see Pam and Bob and we would wave with both hands over our heads then give each other the thumbs up sign. It was our way of saying hello to the two of them. Bob was a lover of nature and we know that from his terrific perch overlooking Ritchie Lake he was able to admire mother nature's bounty until the last.

I knew Bob through his association with Dale and Centa Bauer at Rainbow Colour Lab and bumped into him a few years later at a yard sale at his daughter's house. He was a very pleasant man and very easy to talk to. Tim Withers

So many lovely visits we had with your mom and dad at their (one of several) cottages at Washademoak Lake. We enjoyed listening to his many stories of his life events. We recall the first time we met your dad - there he was (35 years ago) standing in the middle of a little country road in front of the old farm house when we arrived to seek out our little piece of heaven and so it is to this day. Sincere condolences to you at this sad time.
