Obituary of Jeanetta Alison Knowlton
Jean Alison Knowlton, wife of the late Vernon "Bud" Knowlton passed away peacefully on Friday, November 11, 2016 at the Church of St. John and St. Stephen Home, Saint John, NB.
Born in Hampton, NB on April 14, 1924, she was the daughter of the late Hartley and Barbara (Campbell) Carson. Jean enjoyed playing Bridge and was a member of the W.M.S.at St. Matthew's Presbyterian Church. She was an avid Blue Jays and Toronto Maple Leaf fan. She loved spending time at her summer cottage at the Belleisle. Jean adored and loved her grandchildren and her great grandson.
Survived by her daughters; Nancy MacDonald (Don), Barbara Craft (George "Butch"), both of Quispamsis, grandchildren; Craig and Ryan MacDonald, Natalie and Matthew Craft, great grandson Carson Craft, special niece Ann Wheaton, and nieces and nephews.
Besides her husband, Jean was predeceased by her brother Roy Carson and niece Jean (Carson) Keating.
Resting at Kennebecasis Community Funeral Home, 152 Pettingill Road, Quispamsis (849-2119) with visiting on Monday from 4-8PM. Funeral Service will take place at Kennebecasis Funeral Home on Tuesday, November 15, 2016 at 2:00 PM. Interment to take place at Hampton Rural Cemetery. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or to the Multiple Sclerosis Society.
