So sad to hear of Paul’s passing. So many great times spent together during our time in Halifax during our University days, especially the Summer of ‘72 living together on Inglis Street. Great person and a special friend .

To the Family our deepest condolence. To us Paul wasn't just Paul, he was "Cuz" a truly special friend while we lived in BC with a friendship that continued through the miles after life took us in different directions of the country. Our friend Cuz most of all was a kind thoughtful sole always taking great joy in his friends accomplishments and always encouraging them in all their undertakings. We enjoyed many nights of dinner, interesting conversation and a bit of drink with our dear friend, evenings that usually ended with a blanket and a pillow on our couch. As we go forward with our lives we will always remember our gentle giant of a friend with a big heart. He will be missed for sure.
Paul (Fraser) and Julie (Poirier)

Paul was a good friend during our university years and played hockey and baseball with us and always enjoyed our parties. He was always fun loving and dependable. We often talked years later about our fun experiences at university and Paul was always Part of the discussion. We were a close group and when we get together again , we will have a toast to Paul and thank him for his friendship and many positive memories. He was a good friend who we knew we could çount on.

To the Cumming family,
Such a surprise to hear this news. Paul was one of the university era friends that met socially. We played sports together and usually found a party or two along the way.
Being a fellow North Ender from SJ helped create a special bond that lasted until we lost touch when Paul moved west.
I wish your family all the very best and join you in our deepest respect and loss of a great person.
Cheers,
John Bardsley

He loved sharing a good time with family and friends. He was however an intensely private person with emotions that ran deep. Never one to discuss accomplishments, he quietly went back to University to finish studies that were interrupted by a bohemian lifestyle for a brief period of his early life.
He was very successful in his business career, but you would never know it from his possessions or the places where he lived.
He treasured the many pictures of his nieces and nephews that were sent to him over the years, and showed tears of pride when hearing of their accomplishments.
A gentle soul, he loved giving special friends and relatives unusual gifts...his sayings were too numerous to remember.
He was a loyal and caring friend...
