Janice holds a very special place in my memories going back to Main Street along with Trevor and Eleanor. The music of the family has pointed me and many others to the most important things in life for all that time and I'm sure they are rejoicing together even now as we mourn. Losing one of the brightest lights in our church family will take a while to get over but knowing she's hearing the best performance of "Welcome Home Children" there could be gives me some comfort that we too will see her again in His time. I trust that our Lord will give you that assurance through the irresistible presence of His Spirit even now and in the days ahead. God Bless and comfort each of you. phill reece.

What can I say about my friend Janice? We were friends for 30 years. We raised children together, sang together, did Christmas musicals together (so much fun!), camped, went shopping .... She was a friend who never gave up. She never stopped calling and always came when needed. And not just me - so many other people. Even people that no one else ever knew about. She cared in a BIG way! She saw other people's troubles as troubles she was willing to share. And she wouldn't let anyone stay focused on the negative. She knew life was made for living and wanted everyone to have the joy and happiness that she found in life. She loved her Lord and Saviour and wanted others to know His love, joy and peace the way she did. Janice had disappointments and losses like all of us. But she never let them keep her down. Even when she lost her beloved Dad and darling Mother, she was heartbroken but decided to keep on living the way they would have wanted her to. They were always so proud of her! She is with them now in Heaven, completely well and living the fullest life that God had planned for her. Next to her Lord, the two greatest loves of her life were her Lloydie and Katelynn. They were all she ever really needed. To both of you and to everyone who knew and loved her, my deepest sympathies are extended. We will miss her.

Lloyd, Katelynn & Lee, we continue to pray for you all during such a difficult time...though much sadness and loss is what we feel...the hope we have in Jesus Christ is what we can lean on. May you find great strength and comfort - and peace that passes all understanding!! Janice blessed so many with her music, I know I was blessed by it many, many times over, she could literally make the piano sing and tell a story note by note! Her love for her family was so evident - she was blessed and proud of you all - we extend to you heart-felt sorrow with love. She will be greatly missed by us all.

To Lloyd & Katelynn (and Family), As you know Janice & I were friends since we were both pregnant and I loved my dear friend. We went through all the trials and tribulations of raising babies and school age children. We did so many things together back then. Such an amazing group of friends we had. We spent a lot of weekends together on the campgrounds and then lots of time through the weeks arranging play dates with kids in tow. Although I cherish those memories too, I especially remember the times she & I took off to Mardens or Frenchie's in Sussex. We put together some pretty great outfits. Janice was the whole package tho. All sparkle from head to toe (yes the shoes!!) but more importantly she sparkled from within. Janice had an ABSOLUTLEY unwavering zest for life, healthy living, fun, and a discipline about her fitness that none can compare. She amazed me with her resolve to be fit & healthy. I know she amazed others. She was just so good at making "healthy " enjoyable. Because of this she fit a lot into her life. Her dedication to family, church, friends & charitable work is a lagacy to be remembered and admired. Janice's faith was strong. As she struggled in her last days she never wavered. She struggled as we all do but her faith was in Him and her life was a testament to that. I'll never forget the time she & I sang in church. I chocked so bad but she carried me through like the pro that she was. She had so much faith in my ability. I don't think she ever let on nor do I remember that she felt that I let her down. Janice was my Sister in Christ & in many of our life journeys. She will be sadly missed an so fondly remembered by me. She taught me how to French braid my own hair one weekend while camping at Pine Cone. She was so patient. We did it over and over all weekend until I got it. I will think of her every time I do it now. Carol Mercer & Mark,Jared, Jordan & Zach

Hello Lloyd and Katelynn. My heart is heavy with the sad news of my dear musical 'buddy', Janice. I've been retired for two years now and 'out of the picture', so this was such a shock. I have been picturing Janice, in her retirement, motorcycling around with great abandon. She was a great music teacher, and my comforter, and advisor in all the many music educational joys and toils...I couldn't have done it (nearly so well)without her support. Her hearty laugh and great hugs will be always with me...she was such a joy! I'm only 5'9" so I looked up to Janice in many ways! You two were the light of her life and great inspiration. Like her dear dad, Trevor, she easily shared her profound love of music-making with all she encountered...such a gift and wonderful legacy from a fine person. Here's hoping the initial shock and sadness will be soon replaced by warm and wonderful memories, for you two to share, laugh and cry over...to savor forever.

Janice, you were a beautiful person inside and out. You were so kind and gentle and loving towards my son Shawn while he went through treatments while battling Cancer and Shawn came for visits and enjoyed sitting in your car and dropping off soup with his Nanny (Cindy Risser) while you were going through your treatments. You will be so missed and never forgotten. Even while you were sick, you gave me money to get as much school supplies as I could for a work fundraiser of mine for children who didn't have school supplies. Always so thoughtful. You are home now looking over your family and friends until we see you again. Rest in peace. XO

Dear Lloyd and Katelynn, It is with heavy hearts that myself and Daphne send our condolences to you both on the home going of Janice. But in sitting together and thinking back to our time at Rothesay and all that we were able to do with Janice, brings a warm smile to our face and a warm heart. A lady who lived out her life in full for her savior, a lady who served from the heart in a way that touch many lives, enabling our awesome God to then go on and draw those people unto Him who Janice touched. So many wonderful memories we have, to many to mention. But to say we are eternally thankful for those memories. Janice is now in the presence of her beloved Savior, playing a key role in God's choir for sure. Our prayers and thought are with both. God Bless Andy, Daphne and family.

Dear Lloyd, Katelynn & all Family. We just arrived back from Florida and only heard of Janice's illness and then within a few days she has Graduated to her Reward. We are so sadden of the loss of a great Friend to so many. We go back to the days of her Dad and Mum and when they were Choir Directors at Central Baptist and I was the Youth Pastor. Many a time Janice would be dressed to the hilt and cute as a button. Always smiling. "Poisey" (Eleanor's Mother) would have Janice in hand. Poisey was always dressed in her best finery and I think this is where Janice got her style. Poisey was like the Queen Mother. Very elegant. Janice was one that had that "devilish" little grin. Classy, knew what she had to do to be in control and did so masterfully at Fairville Elementary where our Children went and was in her Music Department. Always put on a great Musical time for those Parents attending. It was not just a Musical Class for Janice SHE MADE it interesting and our Children loved her for it. To this day they carry great memories. Janice's Dad and Mum were well known for their Organ and Piano Duets and people would come to Church 30-40 mins prior Service just to hear them play. What a Couple. Then Janice followed in their foot steps with her Ministry of Music at Rothesay Baptist. Many a Musical we attended that she Directed. Again....classy and in control. After she "retired" from School we use to see her walking with her Cup to Tim Horton's and back. Always walking straight as a Pole and even paced and again.....always that smile. Prior leaving for Florida we had mentioned to each other of not seeing Janice on her walking route. Little did we know she was ill. Please know that our thoughts and prayers are with each of you at this difficult time. Like so many you have great Memories. Thank you for allowing me to go down Memory Lane and share moments with you from way back. I cherish my connection with the Neill Family. Was a privilege to work with them. Blessings to all, In His Grip. Norman & Barbara Raynes Calvary Temple

I have this image of a tall, vibrant, beautiful woman that I met almost 16 years ago to the day. I was 15 years old and she was one of the "coolest" women that I had ever met. I almost think it was on our introduction at Hampton Bible Camp that she scooped up my laundry and told me I would be spending the weekend with her and her family. I don't think I spent a weekend away from the Craig's for the next 5 or 6 years after that. Janice immediately made me feel like family; from lending Katelynn and I her sporty little Sidekick convertible for weekend adventuring, making room for me in the house, or even scolding me for being a bratty teenager (or bringing home goats!! I'm still sorry!). I have wonderful memories of her strutting her stuff on the piano, visiting Katelynn and I in Chipman to go dirt biking, and just hanging out with her on many Saturday mornings (with her little kitty often perched just behind her neck on the sofa). Janice, I really loved you like a mother and my heart is deeply saddened to know that you are not still with us here being the beautiful person that you are. From the bottom of my heart I thank you for the way you welcomed me into your life. I will love you and carry these memories with me forever. Lloyd and Katelynn, my heart goes out to you for your incredible loss. I have no words; I know that this pain cuts so very deep. She was a wonderful woman and I know the impact she had on so many people, myself included, is very far reaching. Anytime you want to share memories of this beautiful person, I am there. My sincerest condolences, Jamie
