Obituary of Agnes Melina Hunt
It is with great sadness that the family of Agnes Melina Hunt of Quispamsis, NB, wife of the late Charles Hunt, announce her passing on Saturday, June 4, 2016 at Embassy Hall, Quispamsis, NB.
Born on Jan 21, 1924 in Miramichi, NB, she was a daughter of the late Robert and Elizabeth (Landry) Beaulieu. Agnes was a life member of the Royal Canadian Legion Ladies Auxiliary Branch 58 and recently received her 55 year pin. She was also a part of the St. Marks seniors group and CWL, volunteered for Meals on Wheels and was part of the Golden Girls Bowling League for many years, where she scored a perfect 300.
Agnes is survived by her sons; Charles of Saskatchewan , Ronald of Sussex and Gordon (Freda) of Calgary, grandchildren; Chaz, Cindy, Michael, Sherry Lynn, Jenny and Ricky, several great grandchildren, brother; Gerald (Evelyn) of Newcastle and several nieces and nephews.
Besides her husband Charles, she was predeceased by son; Richard, brother; Hubert and sisters; Cecilia, Barbara, Mary, Elvina, Ann, Josephine and Catherine.
The family wish to thank the staff at Embassy Hall & Concorde Hall for their excellent care of Agnes, and her 3 special nieces; Theresa Guay, Susan McNulty and Julie Preston for always being there for her.
Resting at Kennebecasis Community Funeral Home, 152 Pettingill Road, Quispamsis (849-2119) with visiting on Thursday, June 9, 2016 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM, at 7 PM there will be Ladies Auxiliary Tribute Service. Funeral Service will be held at St. Mark's Catholic Church on Friday, June 10, 2016 at 10:00 AM. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 58, St. Mark's CWL or to a charity of the donor's choice. Online condolences may be made at www.kennebecasisfh.com
