We send our sympathy to Tammy, Melissa, Amber & Ashley and other family members in the passing of Mike. Ben is Mike's nephew and although in recent years we had not seen Mike for some time. We are sorry that we cannot come to the visitation due to Covid restrictions. We shall keep you in our prayers during this difficult time. The obituary read that Mike was the "jack of all trades" and that so reminds us of his Dad Arnold. Also his outgoing personality was Arnold as well.

To Mike's Family, I am sorry to say in recent years I have lost touch with Mike. We worked closely together for several years at Potacan and I always respected his work ethic and integrity. I am saddened to learn of his passing and will remember his laugh and chuckle in good times, and compassion for others in tough times. May you find strength in your memories of a good man.

I’m so sorry to hear of your loss. Mike was a great mentor to me when I first got into the safety field almost twenty years ago. I count myself fortunate to have been able to pick his brain regularly and to learn from his broad experience. Unfortunately we largely parted ways when his career direction changed, but a few years ago, our work brought us back together on a refinery turnaround. I truly enjoyed catching up with him, and getting to work with him briefly once again. Everyone should be as lucky to have a mentor like him in their lives. He was a great man, always telling stories. I’ll miss him.

Ah, Mikey - ye've been gone so long and died too soon.
Lots of history here - He took my job and then I took his. And then it was all "safety" because of all the bodies in the mine.
We spent so much time together and shared so many secrets. Kindred of spirit and brothers in the union. United in the cause.
