Obituary of Rebekah Jane Epton-Galbraith
It is with broken hearts that the family of Rebekah Epton-Galbraith announce her sudden passing on Saturday, August 1, 2020 at the Saint John Regional Hospital surrounded by the love of her mom and dad. Born in Saint John on February 28, 2003, she was the daughter of James Galbraith and Jennifer Quintana.
Rebekah had a strong faith and loved her church family and being involved with her youth group and Church worship team. She also enjoyed being a member of her school band. She adored kids and all animals (except bugs!). Above all, Rebekah loved people. She had a heart of gold and would go out of her way to help anyone in need. She will be missed by all who knew her.
Rebekah will be lovingly remembered by her mother, Jennifer Quintana (Vardyn) and father, James Galbraith (Misty) both of Saint John; brother, Jacob Epton-Galbraith of Saint John; grandparents, Susan Epton and David Epton and Christine Galbraith; great-grandfather, Robert Epton; great-grandmother, Fern Dawson; special cousins, Emma and Sayde Epton and Grace and Luke Dobson; aunts, uncles and extended family.
Rebekah was predeceased by her grandfather, Robert Galbraith and great- grandmother, Lillian Epton.
Resting at Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB (634-7424) with visitation on Wednesday, August 5 and Thursday, August 6 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM. Guests are asked to use the funeral home using the courtyard entrance, where staff will greet and assist you with Covid-19 protocol. A Celebration of Rebekah’s Life will be held on Friday, August 7, 2020 at 11 AM from First Wesleyan Church, 399 Boars Head Road, Saint John. Due to current restrictions, the service will be by invitation only. For those unable to attend, the service will be livestreamed on Brenan’s website and by visiting Rebekah’s obituary. Interment will take place in Greenwood Cemetery.
