Obituary of Constance P. Polley
Surrounded by her family, the death of Constance "Connie" P. Polley, wife of George Polley, occurred on Saturday, April 30, 2016, at Embassy Hall, Quispamsis, NB.
Born on July 11, 1927, in Saint John, she was a daughter of the late Dewitt and Irene (Seamans) Cairns. Connie's father, Dewitt was a gifted professional Baritone Singer in the Saint John area.
Connie was a gifted artist and a wonderful singer, she enjoyed many summers at their lakefront cottage at Washedemoak Lake.
Besides her loving husband, Connie is survived by her sons, Hugh (Petra) of Calgary, AB, Wayne of Quispamsis, and Ronald of Petersborough, ON, grandchildren; Shyanne, James, Reece, and Allan Polley, sister Frances Kilcup, as well as several nieces and nephews.
Connie was predeceased by her son Bruce Polley, brothers; Stanley and Dewitt Cairns, and sister Doris Vincent.
Resting at Kennebecasis Community Funeral Home, 152 Pettingill Road, Quispamsis (849-2119) with visiting on Tuesday and Wednesday, 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Funeral Service will be held at Kennebecasis Community Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday, May 5, 2016 at10AM. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the Alzheimer's Society.
