Obituary of George Murray Haworth
It is with sadness that we announce the passing on October 29, 2019 of our cousin George Murray Haworth. George was born in Quispamsis, NB on September 5, 1931 and lived most of his life in Rothesay, NB. He is the last member of his immediate family.
George was a member of the Labourers Union 1278, he worked for several construction companies and for the towns of Renforth and Rothesay. His interests were hockey, baseball, bowling, card games and puzzles and was a member of St. Augustine's Church in Quispamsis.
He is survived by many cousins throughout Canada and the USA. Our sincere thanks to all who looked after and took George to the many places he liked to go, i.e. - Quispamsis Seniors Bowling, Upham card games and drives around the countryside. A special thank you to Dr. Bewick, Dr. Cook, Patricia Lystrum, Heather Wright, Ruby Masson, Bill Hawkes, Kennbecasis Pharmacy and the staff, and Christine, his caregiver, while at home. Kennebec Manor and staff's care of George this past year has been exemplary - thank you.
