Pam and Thomas, Let me begin by telling you both how saddened I was to hear of Michael's passing.I had been away and was shocked to hear the news on my return. Michael and I spent a lot of time together while creating the Kennebecasis Valley Resource Centre. Much good work was done at the Centre and much of it due to Mike's tireless support of the Centre and his work in making sure such a facility was there in the KV to support older students needing to return to a classroom to obtain the necessary high school credits in order to move on and obtain higher level education. I enjoyed Mike's company, his insight, and his sense of humour. We remained in contact for some time after I left the Centre and it was always a good day when Mike and I would run into each other. Always lots of laughs when we would catch up. Pam and Thomas, my deepest condolences and prayers. We have lost a good man. Rest in Peace,Michael.

Dear Pam and Tom, although I have only known Mike, for about 5 years, I admired him for taking the time to mentor me and fill in some gaps on issues that we shared as being of importance to our community. He also shared stories of committees he sat on with my late husband and projects that they worked on. There was a connection that showed me the quality of his person and the passion that he had for doing what was right. The gift of his time and his friendship is a treasure. I'm very sorry for the loss of Mike to both of you and to his family and friends. The added loss of your bother in law, Pam, and Tom's uncle on the same day is unimaginable. My heart is heavy for your loss. I know there are no words to take away the pain, you are thought of through prayers and may you be comforted by the love and presence of your family and friends. I still cannot believe we have to say good bye to this amazing man far too early. I adored Mike even the way he would just shake his head and smile when Pam and I would get acting foolish. His cheesecake and seafood chowder will be missed greatly. He could cook up a storm. Pam you certainly found a gem for a husband and I am glad Stephan and I have had the opportunity to share in some of your adventures. Keep all your memories close. They are precious. Thomas you had the benefit of having the most patient father. Follow in his footsteps closely while forging your own future. He was so proud of you. He will be watching over you both closely with all of us he has appointed to watch over you both. We love you guys and will always hold our memories of Mike close as well. XOXOX
