We send you and yours our deepest sympathy with the loss of this wonderful member of your family. He travelled through life in a quiet way but his compassionate outreach to friends in need did not go unnoticed!!! Those who knew him in that wonderful community of Gondola Point will remember his humour and that twinkle in his eyes. May it warm your hearts to know that many will acknowledge the loss of this man you were privileged to have in your family. Take care of each other at this sad time and remember to smile like Bob!

We are so sorry to hear of Bob's death. Sincere condolences to Mark, Sue, and Barb and all the family. I remember so well our enjoyable trip home to Gondola Point from the Toronto international car auction in 2002 driving the Volvo and the Jaguar. Bob was the true gentleman. Cyril and Jeanette MacNeil

Barb: Sorry to hear of Bob's passing! Did not know he was at Bobby's Hospice. Although it should not, time seems to alter contact and staying in touch! The obituary comment that Bob would be remembered for his dry sense of humour brought to mind the day I drove mum along with the Brown sisters to visit at lunch time. Violet, I think, complimented you on your hair colour. Bob commented " If you like it, I will get you a bottle!" I will try to get down but Judy is unable to travel easily. She sufferred a ministroke last summer. Regards and condolences Judy and David

Barb, Mark, Craig and Family: I am deeply saddened to hear of Bob's passing although we can take peace in that he is no longer suffering. He was well liked and respected by many including my family who are very fortunate to have had Bob (and the family he leaves behind) as excellent friends for many years. I have many memories of visiting Barb and Bob's as a child whether it was a corn boil, drive in a classic car, Christmas or for Bob's famous home made ice cream and will never forget his sense of dry humour. Barb and Bob were in a way like my third pair of grand parents growing up. Bob's hard work, attention to detail, quality craftsmanship and creativity will live on in his many fine pieces woodwork including clocks, cabinets airplanes, ships and more. May Bob rest peace and may his memory provide comfort to all.
