Jill Smyth

It is with heavy hearts the family of Jill Smyth announces her passing on Wednesday, February 23, 2022, at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born on February 6, 1933, in Birkenhead, England, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Constance (Cruickshank) Morgan.  During her lifetime Jill lived in England, Bahrain, Wales and Canada.

Jill was a passionate member of the KV quilt guild.  She took great pride in creating each one of them for family members. She enjoyed having dinner parties where stories could be shared with good food and laughter. Was an ace at cryptic crosswords and practically unbeatable at Scrabble.

Jill is survived by her son, Mark (Dana) of Fort Mac, AB; daughters Nicola (Tony) Allen of New Zealand, and Karen of Quispamsis, NB; twin brothers, Peter and David Morgan; grandchildren: Shiloh, Taylor, Brianna, Nicholas, James, Jillian and Jasper; great grand-daughter, London; and several nieces and nephews, and lovable grand-pup, Tiki.  Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband of 56 years, Brendan; and twin siblings Jacqueline, and Robin.

Special thanks to Wendy for always being a great friend and source of support.
